Why Is It Called Colorado?

Here's one reason.

Mount Lincoln from near Hoosier Pass.

The other four are going to climb Mounts Lincoln, Democrat, and Bross tomorrow. Since I already climbed those in '07, I'm going to head over to the other side of Hoosier Pass and climb Quandary Peak instead. Here's what it looks like:

The trailhead is already above 10,000 feet, so treeline is not far up, and most of the hike will be on alpine tundra and bare rock. I plan to start around 4 AM on Friday morning so I can avoid any afternoon storms.
