Some impressive snow sculptures during the Saint Paul Winter Carnival. These were up on the state fairgrounds near Machinery Hill.

Don't get in his way.

That's a mean-looking pig.

This one made me think of a certain cephalopodophile.

I happened to show up right as the Saint Paul Bouncing Team was showing off their stuff. These young women were experts at catching air. But it was a lot funnier when the big fat guy got onto the bounce mat, and managed a full four feet before falling ungracefully back into the capable hands of the bounce crew.
